Funny Asian Women Kollective (FAWK) presents a night of no holds barred comedy. FAWK was founded by award-winning artists Naomi Ko, May Lee-Yang, and Saymoukda Vongsay to combat the invisibility and dehumanization of Asian Pacific Islander American women. FAWK uses comedy to talk about controversial issues such as race, misogyny, white supremacy, and sexual health. This performance will feature all of the collective’s hilarious members because why need one Ali Wong when you can get eleven?
This performance is made possible in part by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
